A native of Cincinnati, W. Scott Russell attended McNicholas High School and Xavier University. Scott is a 2004 graduate of the University of Dayton School of Law and currently sits on the Alumni Board as a Trustee. Scott is a licensed attorney in Ohio and in federal court in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

W. Scott Russell concentrates his practice in Family Law litigation in Ohio, focusing in Hamilton County, Warren County, and Clermont County. He also handles cases in Clinton County, Butler County, Montgomery County, and Greene County.

Scott is a member of the Cincinnati Bar Association where he serves as a member of the CBA's Domestic Relations Committee, and of the Warren County Bar Association. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association where he serves as a member of the Family Law Committee, the American Bar Association, the Cincinnati Academy of Collaborative Professionals and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.

In his free time, Scott enjoys spending time at the Four Seasons Yacht Club, where he is a participating member in various boating activities, and competing in the Cincinnati Sports Leagues.
