Juliette Gaffney Dame
Juliette Gaffney Dame focuses her practice in the area of family law matters including divorce, dissolution, legal separation, and child custody. She is also a certified family law mediator and trained as a Guardian Ad Litem. She has an extensive practice throughout southwest Ohio, focusing in Warren, Butler and Hamilton counties.
She is a member of the Warren, Butler, and Hamilton County Bar Associations as well as the Ohio State Bar Association. For the last two years, Juliette has been honored with the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys award for being one of the ten best family law attorneys in Ohio based on client satisfaction.
Juliette has worked closely with the Ohio Domestic Violence Network and Warren County’s Abuse and Rape Crisis Center, where she helps victims of domestic violence gain custody of their children, aids in bringing peaceful ends to their marriages, and assists with civil protection orders. Juliette also works with the Wills for Heroes Program for first responders. She brought this program to Warren and Butler Counties to make sure those who protect us on a daily basis and their families are provided essential estate planning documents.
Juliette is a graduate of the University of Dayton School of Law where she was on the NTC Mock Trial Competition Team and was a founding member, including the first President, of the Volunteer Student Law Project. After graduating from UDSL, Juliette returned to coach the school’s Mock Trial team as an adjunct professor in 2007. Prior to law school she worked in marketing for Miller & Chevalier, a tax law firm, in Washington, D.C. and as a staff assistant on Capitol Hill.
Juliette is a 1996 graduate of Drew University where she earned a B.A. in political science, with a minor in writing. During college she had internships with CBS sports and NBC’s Meet the Press, ran on the cross country team, and served as Editor-in-Chief of the school’s weekly newspaper. Juliette is an active member of the community where she resides with her husband and three children.
