Cincinnati Social Security Disability Attorneys

Helping You Get the Benefits You Need

If you are unable to work due to a disability, you may be eligible for either Social Security Disability (SSD) benefits or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits. At Rittgers & Rittgers, our attorneys can help you determine your eligibility and complete your application.

Have You Already Applied and Been Denied?

If you have already been denied, do not give up. The vast majority of initial applications are denied. The staff at the Social Security Administration (SSA) has little time to devote to each application. If they do not find what they are looking for at a glance, they will deny the claim. Thankfully, there is an appeals process available. Our Cincinnati Social Security Disability lawyers are here to help you through that process.

We will review your application to determine what, if anything was missing, and submit a request for reconsideration. Even a well-prepared request for reconsideration may be denied, so we are always ready to take the next step: a Social Security appeal hearing.

Prior to the hearing, everything is done in writing. The hearing gives us a chance to present medical documentation and other evidence to an administrative law judge in person. We understand how to present the evidence in a manner that makes it perfectly clear why you are eligible for Social Security benefits. This is where we typically achieve success.

Client Review: 5/5 ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

First of all thank you Eric Allen. I had in previous years filed a claim with disability with another lawyer that had little to no interest in me, my condition nor his preparation to defend my case. Out of respect I will not mention his name. What I can say is I lost my case. Over the years my rare condition continued to take a toll on my body. By this time I was introduced to the Rittgers & Rittgers Attorney office in Lebanon, Ohio. I was wheeled in by my wife in a wheel chair and my wife submitted all information we had on my condition and previous outcomes of physicians findings. Eric being a disability lawyer looked over the compiled paperwork and took my case upon his visual acknowledgement to my needs. At my hearing it went well. He had his notes at hand and collaborated between the judge and myself with professional poise and stayed focused. After 10 years from the onset of my condition which Eric worked the last 2 years diligently. My case was ruled I was disabled by law. Eric a Kudo's shout out for your service rendered to me.
