Ohio man charged with OVI after alleged erratic driving

When individuals traveling the roadways are concerned about the behavior of other drivers, they may alert the authorities to the situation. In some cases, a driver may be stopped in order for police to assess the circumstances. If they believe that a driver may have been drinking before getting behind the wheel, that driver could potentially be charged for OVI and face further legal proceedings.

A man in Ohio is facing a similar situation after he was stopped by the authorities. It was reported that the man was allegedly driving on the interstate when police were alerted to his presence due to a 911 call reporting an erratic driver. The situation reportedly took place just after 2:30 a.m.

Authorities apparently stopped his vehicle and allegedly requested that he perform sobriety tests. The man purportedly did not complete the sobriety tests in an adequate manner. As a result, the man was charged with OVI and taken in to custody. It was not noted what specific sobriety tests the man may have participated in. At the time of the report, he had a court date for the near future.
