Biography
Born and raised in Cincinnati and a graduate of Wittenberg University (BA Psych/Poli Sci) and the University of Cincinnati (JD). Entering my 30th year of practice, I've spent 29 of those years as a prosecutor and criminal defense attorney, with twelve years spent prosecuting felony matters and seven years as a division chief in the municipal court division at the Hamilton County Prosecutor's office. Previous trial experience includes over 150 juries, including but not limited to aggravated murder, rape, arson, insurance fraud, burglary, robbery, domestic violence, aggravated vehicular homicide and literally over a thousand OVIs. Through the prosecutor's office I was an in-service training instructor at the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office from 2018 to 2020, and I have tried cases in Hamilton, Warren, Clermont, Brown, Butler, Montgomery, Clark, Greene and Clinton Counties, and have additionally resolved cases in Preble, Adams, Scioto, Hocking, Franklin, Darke, Auglaize and Shelby counties.
I have two daughters, one of whom is a recent college graduate while the other is a junior at Loyola of Chicago. I live in Clifton with my wife, two dogs and two cats.
